Queenstown is one legendary town! Why? It’s so well known as the adventure capital of the world! You can’t say you’ve finished visiting Queenstown without taking in at least one of the extreme activities! Really, they have everything that the adventure seeker could ever want!
My birthday is sort of a big deal; well, isn’t everyone’s? It is a celebration of being on this earth another 365 (or 366 in a leap year) days and conquering the challenges of life. This being said, my husband truly gives my birthday the recognition and spotlight he feels it deserves, and I guess with a wife who is approaching 40, it is the safe thing to do to keep me from dreading that day in mid-January. This year, he gave my 38th rotation around the sun spectacular treatment with a bucket-list-ticking trip to the adventure capital of the world – Queenstown New Zealand. A town that mirrors the quirkiness and quaintness of Aspen Colorado, Queenstown is a place where your inner adrenaline-junkie’s dreams come true. Therefore, in honour of this risk-taking, death-defying momentum, I have comprised a bucket list of must-do’s series while in this beautiful South Island haven, starting with a zip through the trees with Ziptrek Ecotours.
Hundreds of Queenstown locals ‘took to the trees’ for a locals’ day treat raising thousands of dollars for the Wakatipu Reforestation Trust.
Ziptrek Ecotours Queenstown is delighted to announce that it has received another TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence. Now in its sixth year, the achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.
Ziptrek Ecotours is bringing its award-winning Queenstown experience to over 260 of the world’s leading travel buyers at New Zealand’s biggest international tourism event.
It’s a well-known ‘fact’ that Australians speak a different language, so when launching a new audio tour app, Queenstown-based tourism company Ziptrek Ecotours has put together an Aussie version for our friends across the ditch – as well one in Mandarin.
