On Saturday, November 1st, Queenstown locals flocked to Ziptrek Ecotours for our annual Locals’ Day, and what a day it was! Over 150 locals joined us for tree-top fun, music, food, and giving back to the community.
We’re thrilled to announce that together we raised $5,162.50 for OneBike, a fantastic local charity that support the local community by rescuing, repairing and rehoming bikes.
The day was packed with fun:
The vibe was incredible! Sunshine, music, and locals having an awesome time for a great cause.
We couldn’t have done it without the amazing community spirit. Thank you to everyone who came along to make this our biggest and most vibrant event of the year!

Give Local Kids’ Bikes a Safe, New Home!
Ziptrek is also proud to support OneBike in creating a secure, weather-proof home for a fleet of kids’ bikes from the Wakatipu Toy Library. These bikes are a real treasure for local tamariki, and we’re thrilled to kickstart the campaign with the $5,162.50 donation from Locals’ Day!
By contributing, you’ve helped:
Promote health & activity for local kids
Ensure accessibility for children without bikes
Protect a valuable community asset for generations
Every dollar counts, so let’s make sure these community wheels have a safe, dry home this holiday season!
And, if you weren't able to join us for local's day, it isn't too late to contribute! Click to DONATE NOW!
