Ziptrek's Annual Locals’ Day is BACK for 2025!
Join us from 10am on Saturday 1st November for some amazing zipping!
This Locals’ Day, Southern Lakes and Central Otago residents can experience the eco-exhilarating fun of Ziptrek at a special locals-only rate at just $60 per person for our 4-Line Moa course!
But that’s not all! We’re also opening up our steepest tree-to-tree zipline, Line 6, for a Koha* (donation). No need to pre-book, just wander up or down the Tiki Trail on the day (don’t forget cash or card).
Best of all, 50% of all ticket sales will go directly to OneBike, a local charity doing incredible work right here in our community.

If you’re tackling Line 6, you’ll end up at the bottom of the gondola.

About OneBike:
OneBike is Queenstown’s community bike hub, built on the vision of a barrier-free, bike-friendly town where everyone can move faster, cleaner, and more affordably. They operate on a simple but powerful idea: collect bikes in almost any condition, repair and refurbish them where possible, and rehome them to people who need them most. Whether it’s an old commuter bike gathering dust or a child’s first set of wheels, OneBike assesses each donation and decides whether it can be rescued, recycled, or given a second life.
Beyond just distributing bikes, OneBike offers free maintenance courses to help people become confident at caring for their own bikes. These workshops not only teach mechanical skills but also foster a sense of ownership and empowerment in a low-barrier way. Through donations, volunteer support, and community engagement, OneBike is helping make cycling a more accessible, sustainable option for locals; one rider and one bike at a time.
